Heuchera – Mahogany Monster Coral Bell
If you like em’ big you’ll adore Mahogany Monster Coral Bell, Heuchera. Each mahogany red leaf is a whopping 6″ wide. Mature plants are known to grow 28″ wide, about as big as you can get with a Coral Bell. Its foliage reaches about 16″ tall. It creates a brilliant display with its mounds of beautiful foliage. Huge burgundy stems that can soar over 3′ tall hold masses of light pink buds with cream flowers. Hummingbirds can’t resist Coral Bell’s flowers, so expect to see them.
A member of the Primo Heuchera series, bred for larger, faster growing habits and a more substantial landscape presence than other varieties.
A garden designer’s favorite, Coral Bells’ superior mounded form and striking evergreen leaves makes it ideal for containers and edging, or for neat and tidy designs.
Plant in well-draining soil that has been amended with organic mater. Coral Bells prefer morning sun and afternoon shade.
