Chamaecyparis King’s Gold False Cypress
SKU: n/a.$49.99
Add bright golden foliage and interesting texture to the garden with King’s Gold False Cypress, Chamaecyparis pisifera. Thread-like golden foliage forms into a small, shaggy, evergreen mound. Excellent for mass plantings or as a color counterpoint to green or burgundy foliage plants. King’s Gold False Cypress is smaller and more resistant to summer sun scorch than older varieties. Perfect in rock gardens, hedges, or where a textural component is needed. Low maintenance and deer resistant.
Plant King’s Gold False Cypress in full to part sun locations in soil that has been amended with compost. Keep well watered until established and during dry spells.
