Hydrangea macrophylla Rhythmic Blue, Bigleaf Hydrangea
One of the most vibrant Hydrangeas ever, Rhythmic Blue Bigleaf Hydrangea stuns with jumbo intensely colored flowers. Masses of mophead flowers bloom in late spring and again in late summer. This workhorse of a bloomer will provide mounds of vibrant bouquets. Flowers can be a deep magenta or change to blue by lowering the pH level. If changed to blue, you will experience one of the deepest and most intense blues of any Hydrangea. Part of the exceptional Let’s Dance Series.
Plant Bigleaf Hydrangeas in moist, well-drained soils. Before planting amend soil with compost. Bigleaf Hydrangeas benefit from consistent water schedules and regular fertilization. They prefer morning sun and afternoon shade, dappled sunlight or bright indirect light.
