Fan Flower Surdiva Blue Violet
One of the best plants for hot summers, Surdiva Blue Violet Fan Flower blooms all summer long without breaking a sweat. Intense violet blue fan-shaped flowers begin blooming in spring and persist until frost.
Native to Australia, Fan Flower excels in hot, dry locations. The graceful trailing stems look fabulous in hanging baskets, spilling out of mixed containers or window boxes, or used as a tough ground cover. Fan Flower will thrive anywhere it is hot and sunny as long as it is in well-drained soils. A perfect choice for the forgetful waterer.
Plant Fan Flowers in well-drained locations that receive full sun. Fertilize with a bloom booster fertilizer according to label’s directions. Thrives in low water, let soils dry out between waterings. Annual.
