As the flowers mature they deepen to sweetheart pink with darker pink tips. It creates brilliant displays when all the colors appear at once. Incredibly long blooming, you can expect wave after wave of blossoms from late spring until frost. It forms a tidy mound of highly disease resistant, dark green foliage. Deer resistant. Shades of Rose Coreopsis belongs to the superior Permathread Series of Coreopsis, a group known for prolific blooming and excellent disease resistance.
Shades of Rose Tickseed makes a fantastic choice for those who want the blooming power and look of an annual, yet don’t want to replant every year. It looks beautiful in perennial gardens, in mass plantings as an easy to care for ground cover, or in containers alone or mixed with other plants. Coreopsis are easy to grow, making them a good choice for beginners and seasoned gardeners.
Plant Coreopsis in full sun, at least 6 hours of good sun a day. Although not fussy about soil, they perform best in soil that has been amended with organic mater. Coreopsis are tolerant of drought, but will bloom best with consistent moisture. Keep new plants well watered until they are established.
