Achillea – New Vintage White Yarrow
A vast improvement over older varieties, New Vintage white Yarrow, Achillea, brings pure white flowers that that hold their color when dried, instead of fading to brown like other selections. Excellent rebloom and a tidy, tight habit make it superior for containers and the garden. Flowers appear over a long time, from late spring into fall. Plants grow 12-14″ tall and 12″ wide.
Yarrow Achillea are easy-to-grow plants that thrive in high heat and humidity. They are deer-resistant. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators adore their nectar. Yarrow makes beautiful cut fresh flowers and dried flower bouquets. Easy to grow sun perennial.
Plant in full sun. Although tolerant of many soils and drought, plant in soil that has been amended with compost and give deep soakings for best results.
