Winner of Multiple Major Awards
Indian Summer Black-Eyed Susan, Rudbeckia, was named an All-American Selection Winner in 1995 and still is considered one of the best. Enormous 6-9” flower heads on sturdy 3-3 ½’ plants appear all summer into fall. A prolific bloomer, you can count on armloads of sunny yellow daisies. We use it often in pots as an annual for bright color all summer and fall. Fantastic alone in pots on patios and entranceways, in mixed pots, and the garden. It is not long-lived but reseeds prolifically for years and years of flowers. A larger-flowered and more vigorous version of the Missouri native Rudbeckia hirta.
