Adored by humans and pollinators Wild Quinine, Parthenium integrifolium, this tall Missouri native perennial grows 3-4′ tall and is topped with fluffy white flower heads from late spring, all summer into fall. Its interesting woolly-looking flat-topped heads make delightful fresh cut and dried bouquets. Its handsome aromatic foliage matures to an attractive clump.
Use Wild Quinine in native gardens, wild or cottage gardens or as part of a naturalized, meadow or prairie planting.
Plant in full sun. Very easy to grow in any soil.
