Mysotis palustris – Forget-Me-Not
Baby blue flowers bloom nonstop beginning in late spring on the true Forget-Me-Nots, Mysotis palustris. A water lover, this rambling ground cover thrives in consistently wet soils, in sun to part shade. Once Forget-Me-Not starts to bloom it doesn’t stop until fall as long as the soil stays consistently moist.
Plant in full sun to part shade. Easy to grow in moist, rich soil. Add compost or other organic matter when planting. Adding a handful of starter fertilizer at planting will speed settling in and improve blooming. Although they will bloom fine without fertilizer, for maximum blooms fertilize. They prefer consistent moisture. Keep well watered especially when plants are setting up blooms and blooming, and during dry spells.
