Leucanthemum Becky, Shasta Daisy
A longtime favorite, Becky Shasta Daisy, Leucanthemum, reliably returns year after year. You can count on armloads daisies on tall stems for your garden and your vase. Huge 3-4″ pure white daises first appear in midsummer and continue through September. Cut flowers are very long lasting.
Plant in full sun, at least 6 hours of sun a day. Easy to grow in average soil in full sun. Divide clumps every two to three years, and discard declining plant material. Although tolerant of dry conditions, for best results keep consistently watered, especially when the plants are setting up buds and blooming.
5″ pot
‘Becky’ Shasta Daisy has won the prestigious award the 2003 Perennial of the Year by the Perennial Plant Association. The Perennial Plant Association is a group composed of growers, retailers, landscape designers and contractors, educators, and others that are professionally involved in the herbaceous perennial industry.
