Echinacea – Prima Ruby Coneflower
SKU: n/a.Jewel-toned red petals surround deep black cones on Prima Ruby Coneflower, Echinacea, all summer long. Large flowers bloom extensively on this petite plant. Prima Ruby sparkles in the garden crown.
An extremely short variety, Prima Ruby Coneflower only grows 12″ tall. It’s perfect for the front of the border and to edge walkways and gardens. It makes an eye-catching addition to perennial beds, cut flower, cottage and pollinator gardens. It’s an ideal plant to replace annuals for mass plantings. Why replant annuals year after year, when you can have the same brilliant show with Prima Ruby Coneflower?
Growing instructions: Plant in full sun, at least 6 hours of sun a day, in well-draining soil. Add organic matter to the soil when planting. For best flowering, keep well watered, especially when plants are setting up buds and blooming. Let plants dry out between watering. An occasional squirt of liquid fertilizer will improve flowering. Deadheading spent blossoms will encourage more flowers.
