Ornamental and Edible Everbearing Strawberry
Loaded with outstanding qualities, Gasana Strawberry produces abundant plump fruit throughout the summer and fall. Combining showy pink flowers and juicy, sweet fruit, this everbearing strawberry can be grown as an ornamental and edible perennial fruit. For months on end the plant puts on a superb display of flowers and strawberries appearing together.
Each sweet strawberry has a delicious flavor, perfect for jams, desserts, and snacking. This strawberry forms runners, making it effective in flower beds, raised vegetable gardens, patio containers, and hanging baskets. It can also be used as a long-lived perennial ground cover.
Plant in a sunny location in soil that has been amended with compost or other organic matter. For best results, keep well watered when the plant is getting established, when it sets up buds, blooming, and during dry spells.
