SKU: n/a.$7.99
Sapphire Tuffet Stonecrop, Sedum, delivers dark smokey-blue leaves with thin 1/2″ serrated edges. In early summer, this ultra-hardy sedum almost looks like a purple boxwood! Sapphire Tuffet into a loose mound 10-12″ in size. In fall, a riot of hot pink flowers appears. Deer and bunnies don’t care for it, but butterflies and pollinators always visit its nectar-rich blossoms. In fall, its leaves transform to pumpkin-orange.
Sapphire Tuffet works beautifully tucked in rock gardens and perennial beds, as an edging plant, along walkways, and with other succulents in containers. It makes a perfect choice for sunny, dry spaces. Like all Sedum, Sapphire Tuffet thrives on neglect, showing its best colors when grown in dry areas in full sun.
A member of the outstanding Sunsparkler Sedum series. A colorful series of ultra-hardy Sedum from the breeding efforts of Chris Hansen. These ground cover Sedum boast unique habits and vibrant colors!
