The First Blue Hued Mandevilla!
Bluephoria Mandevilla delights with stunning color breakthrough. Coral-pink buds open to periwinkle flowers. The compact form can be left unstaked, allowing it to flow over the edge of containers and hanging baskets, or it can be trained onto a small trellis for more height.
Mandevilla work well planted in beds, in containers around pools and on patios, and in large landscapes. It grows 4-5′ tall, but can be pruned to a smaller size. It can be trimmed to fit any tropical lover’s space! This tropical vine can be grown for one season as an annual in St Louis, or can be over wintered inside. It will not tolerate a frost.
Plant Mandevilla in full sun to part shade. Mandevilla bloom best in sunny locations, in rich soil, and with consistent water and fertilizer. Fertilize with any all purpose fertilizer. To overwinter indoors, before the first frost, plants should be cut back and brought indoors. Plants can be moved outdoors after danger of frost has passed.
