With large showy flowers on a petite frame, Little Hottie Panicle Hydrangea is an instant favorite in the garden. Brilliant white blooms stand up to the hot summer sun without burning.  As evening temperatures drop in the fall, the petals turn antique shades of white and pink. Maturing only 3’ – 5’ tall and wide, Little Hottie is ideal for smaller landscapes where traditional Panicle Hydrangeas won’t fit. Little Hottie has an improved form over other Panicle Hydrangeas in its size.

Plant in full sun to part shade in soil that has been amended with compost. Apply a starter fertilizer or an all-purpose fertilizer when planting, we use Starter with Bio Tone Organic Fertilizer. Fertilizing consistently will give you the best results. Stop fertilizing in late summer. Although fancy pruning is not needed, Panicle Hydrangeas bloom on the current season’s growth. They can be pruned in late winter to early spring. You can cut them back to the ground, or if you want taller plants cut them back to 1-3′.
