Echinacea – Double Scoop Watermelon Deluxe Coneflower
SKU: n/a.This diva won the Classic City Award, described as the equivalent to an Oscar and a Tony award rolled up into one — introducing Watermelon Deluxe Coneflower. An outstanding selection, Double Scoop Watermelon Deluxe C0neflower, Echinacea, brings loads of vibrant deep pink blossoms with layers and layers of petals. Its blossoms open with the look of a traditional deep pink coneflower with striking, almost black centers. As the flowers mature, they become a puffball of multiple deep, long-lasting pink petals. A part of the Double Scoop Series of Echinacea, bred for abundant, fully double flowers with brilliant, non-fading color. This new Deluxe variety has the superior branching and prolific blooms of other top selections. Still, it is even better being more compact with a higher flower count than the typical double-flowered Echinacea.
With armloads of blossoms, Double Scoop Watermelon Deluxe Coneflower creates fabulous displays for gardens, containers, cut flower bouquets, and dried arrangements. Although it will bloom continually without deadheading, cutting back spent blooms will encourage more flowers. Deer leave it alone, although bunnies may nibble on its new leaves.
