Cornus florida f. rubra Pink Flowering Dogwood Tree
A popular Missouri native tree, Pink Flowering Dogwood Tree, Cornus florida f. rubra, brightens woodland settings with its beautiful large pink, flower-like bracts. Attractive red ornamental fruit appears in fall. Pink Flowering Dogwood Tree grows 15-30′ tall and wide.
Use Pink Flowering Dogwood Tree in small shady areas, in woodlands, native or formal plantings. Attracts birds and butterflies, deer leave it alone. Tolerant of clay soil and Black Walnut.
Plant in shade to part shade. Keep well watered until tree gets established and during dry spells.
