Climbing Rose Golden Showers
Sprays of pure yellow flowers with a nice fruity fragrance slowly fade to butter yellow as they mature. The 1957 All American Rose Selection winner, Golden Showers has been a popular Climbing Rose for decades.
Canes can reach 8-10′ tall and will grow about 6′ wide without training.
Plant climbing roses in sunny locations that contain rich amended soil. Climbing roses benefit from occasional pruning. Remove old woody canes, small scraggly canes and canes that cause crowding. Do not prune for the first two years.
