Plants will grow 12-16″ wide. Very pretty lavender to white flowers appear before the beans. Harvest the beans when they are 5.5-6.5″ long. If you want them stringless, pick the pods young.
Plant in full sun out in the garden about 18-24″ apart. They can also be grown in containers. In containers plant in good potting soil, or if in the ground in soil that has been amended with compost or other organic matter. Fertilize with an organic, we use Garden-Tone or Starter with Bio-Tone. Giving the plants consistent moisture will reward you with the most beans.
