Beets Rainbow Mix
Enjoy sweet, delicious, and colorful beets from your own garden with Rainbow Mix Beets. They’re easy to grow in the cool weather of spring and fall. This collection is a mix of colorful favorites including golds, spirals, deep reds, and snowy white. Enjoy them at the table as baby beets as well as full-sized roots for eating raw, cooked, or pickled.
Plant out in the garden about 4 inches apart in rows 18-24 inches apart. They can also be grown in containers. The colors will show as soon as roots begins to form. Beets need consistent moisture to produce a good harvest.
Plant in full sun in containers with good potting soil, or if in the ground in soil that has been amended with compost or other organic matter. Fertilize with an organic, we use Garden-Tone or Starter with Bio-Tone.
