Wisteria Amethyst Falls
Few plants can match the spectacular sight of Amethyst Falls Wisteria in full bloom. Amethyst Falls Wisteria produces elegant cascades of sweetly scented blossoms. Its long racemes of lilac blue flowers appear first in late spring, with light repeat blooming throughout summer. Perfect for smaller spaces, this gorgeous twining vine grows at about a third of the rate of Asian wisteria. It quickly will reach 8-10′ tall and over time may reach 30′ if not pruned.
Use in containers for a porch or patio, train up an arbor or trellis, or as a small free-standing tree. Its beautiful blossoms are spectacular cut.
For best results add organic mater when planting. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and full sun.
