6 Months of big beautiful blossoms

Brainstorm Spiderwort, Tradescantia, brings months of brilliant deep purple blossoms. A breakthrough in Spiderwort bred to flower continuously for no less than 6 months, longer than any other Tradescantia so far. Other outstanding features include its flowers being larger than others and more attractive with its dark purple flower buds opening to big, magenta-purple flowers with eye-catching yellow stamens atop sword-shaped evergreen leaves.

Growing Instructions: Plant in full sun to part shade in well drained soil. Can spread rapidly in ideal conditions. Deadhead spent flower clusters after all buds in the cluster have opened. Later in the summer if its foliage tends to decline and flowering slows down or stops, cut back hard. Cutting back plants almost to the ground will promote both new vigorous foliage growth and an additional bloom. Keep well watered when establishing the plant, when the plant is setting and bud and blooming, and during dry spells.
