Spirea Double Play Red
Cherry-red flowers bloom in spring and summer over tidy mounds of green foliage on Double Play Red Spirea. The showy flowers are adored by butterflies. In spring new foliage emerges burgundy, providing a showy spring display. This easy-to-grow shrub is perfect for sunny landscapes where an easy and pretty shrub is needed. Rugged and tough, Spirea Double Play Red will provide excellent color and presence, but needs little maintenance. Deer and bunny resistant.
Plant Spirea in moist well-drained soils in sun to light shade. Blooms spring into summer and will rebloom with deadheading.
