Salvia Blue Suede Shoes, Sage
Enjoy months of flowers on the award winning annual Blue Suede Shoes Sage, Salvia. Azure blue flowers dramatically contrast against the deep black calyxes and stems. The tubular flowers bloom for months, attracting hummingbirds, butterflies and bees to the garden all summer into fall. Similar to the popular Black and Blue Salvia, but with lighter flower color and more flower power.
Use Blue Suede Shoes in center of pots as the “thriller,” in the landscape, or as a specimen pot plant. Plant in cutting, cottage, pollinator, hummingbird and butterfly gardens.
Plant in full sun. For best results keep well watered and fertilize with an all purpose fertilizer.
