Rose Suñorita
SKU: n/a.A disease-resistant rose with a sunny glow, Suñorita Shrub Rose impresses with its spectacular flowers and extreme ruggedness. A sturdy, vigorous shrub rose, it blooms perpetually on a mass of glossy, dark green foliage. The elegant, classically shaped buds are red-orange and open to reveal a soft orange bloom made up of several dozen petals, perfectly shaped to form a classic rose “bowl.” As the blooms age, they develop a golden and apricot tone. Deep green foliage covers the sturdy, medium-sized plant and easily resists common rose diseases like black spot or powdery mildew. Blooms from spring through frost without deadheading. Winner of the American Rose Society 2021 Award of Excellence.
An ideal accent for the garden or foundation planting, this shrub rose grows into a wonderful compact mound. With its disease and pest-resistant foliage, it hardly needs any care. No fancy pruning is needed. Plant Suñorita Rose in groupings with other shrubs and perennials for a brilliant effect.
Plant in full sun in soil that has been amended with compost. Add a starter fertilizer when planting such as Espoma Biotone to get your rose off to a fast start. Fertilizing will produce more flowers, we use Rose Tone Organic. For maximum flower production keep well watered.
