Rose – Bathsheba David Austin Climbing Rose
SKU: n/a.Apricot-yellow buds open to shallowly cupped, many petalled rosettes on Bathsheba Rose. They are a beautiful blend of subtle apricot-pink and soft yellow, giving the overall impression of apricot, with creamy outer petals. There is a superb floral myrrh fragrance, with hints of honey and Tea. It forms a short, vigorous climber. The name was inspired by the heroine of Thomas Hardy’s Far from the Madding Crowd.

David Austin Roses make beautiful fragrant bouquets. Use David Austin Roses in cutting, scented, and cottage gardens. They can be used as hedges or as a mesmerizing specimen.
Plant in full sun in soil that has been amended with compost or other organic matter. To get the roots off to a fast start incorporate a starter fertilizer in the soil at planting. Roses are heavy feeders and benefit from fertilizers. Apply fertilizer that has been specifically formulated for roses following manufacturer’s instructions. Roses need consistent water to bloom well.
