Quercus lyrata – Overcup Oak
SKU: n/a.With a straight trunk and a broad rounded crown the Overcup Oak, Quercus lyrata, creates a beautiful and symmetrical canopy. Glossy green foliage turns shades of orange and red in fall. The unusual acorns appear in late summer. Naturally found along rivers, the Overcup Oak is tolerant of many soil types including boggy or areas prone to flooding.
PlantSweet Gum in sunny to part-shade locations. When planting amend the soil with compost and add a starter fertilizer like Biotone Starter Plus.
Designated a Plant of Merit by the Missouri Botanical Gardens for its outstanding ornamental value and ease of care.

- Orders for stock items placed after 2 pm are ready by 11 am the next day
