African Violet Growing Tips
Re-potting: African violets benefit from being re-potted annually.
Watering: Over watering is one of the most common problems in going African violets. Water from the bottom to avoid wedding the leaves which causes water spots. Pour water into sauce or below the pot and allow it to absorb into the soil (soil should be moist but not soggy). Do not allow the pot to remain in a saucer full of water for an extended time. Allow soil to become dry to the touch between watering.
Light: Place African Violets in indirect sunlight or under artificial lights.
Fertilize: To keep African Violets in bloom fertilize with liquid fertilizer. Follow manufacturer’s instructions.
