Picea – Rainbow’s End Alberta Spruce
SKU: n/a.Rainbow’s End Alberta Spruce, Picea, produces butter yellow new growth in summer, looking like a shining Christmas tree. This conical, diminutive tree is perfect for a rock or container garden or anywhere a small evergreen is needed. It looks fantastic in formal settings and in containers by front doors and entranceways. In mid-summer, a second flush of growth transforms the light green tree into a beacon of bright lemon yellow. Very slow growing, after ten year’s growth, a mature specimen will measure 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide. It grows 3 to 6 inches a year. No fancy pruning is needed to keep its great shape.
Plant in full sun to part shade.
