Monarda – Blue Moon Bee Balm
Showy purple flowers and pretty deep green foliage makes a Blue Moon Bee Balm, Monarda, an easy choice for the sunny garden. Purple flowers bloom in summer, looking like little purple fireworks. The deep green foliage adds a nice accent to these showy flowers. Deer and rabbit resistant. Its aromatic foliage smells like mint and can be used to flavor teas.
A pollinator powerhouse! The flowers’ sweet nectar attracts hoards of hummingbirds, butterflies and bees to the garden.
Plant Bee Balm in average to rich soil in full sun. Keep watered, especially when plants are setting up buds and blooming.
