In spring, Ann Magnolia puts on a breathtaking display with its fragrant and huge 7-9″ reddish-purple blossoms. It can be used as a shrub or a small tree. Its small size makes it ideal for city gardens and landscapes. Ann Magnolia blooms later than others, making it less apt to lose its blossoms to late frosts. Prefers a rich soil and a location protected from high wind. Part of the Little Girl series. Flowers may repeat bloom in midsummer. Pretty fall yellow foliage.
