Slender Silhouette Sweetgum, Liquidambar, quickly grows to form a tall, strikingly narrow column. One of the tightest and narrowest trees available, it is easier to grow than most. Those grown as hedges quickly become effective visual screens, while single specimens mature to become landscape exclamation points. The star-shaped leaves are dark green, becoming orange to burgundy in fall. It produces very few gumballs.
