One of our top perennials, Blue Star Kalimeris, is fast becoming a summertime blooming favorite due to its prolific blue daisies that just keep coming. Tolerant of heat and humidity, it always looks great, even in the hottest of summers. Single one-inch, sky-blue daisy-like flowers appear on emerald green compact mounds all summer. It is very easy to grow with hardly any maintenance. It prefers well-drained areas in full sun. It grows to 18″. It is fantastic in mixed pots and adored by butterflies.
If you love Asters but can’t wait until fall, this plant is for you. Sky blue aster-like flowers appear all summer.
Plant in full sun to light shade. Shearing back after flowering will encourage more blooms.
