Juniperus – Blue Star Juniper
With its sparkling blue foliage on dense, spreading branches, Blue Star Juniper, Juniperus, makes a colorful, weed smothering ground cover. Try it next to plants with yellow, purple or even green foliage, the contrasts brings the landscape up to a whole new level. Use in a rock garden or as a low border plant. Ideal for mass plantings in minimal-care landscapes. Evergreen.
Plant Juniper in full sun in well-drained locations. Add compost or other organic matter to the soil when planting. Use a starter fertilizer like Espoma Bio-tone Starter to get your plants off to a quick start.
