Hibiscus Pollypetite, Rose of Sharon
Will its small stature and extremely long bloom time, Pollypetite Rose of Sharon, Hibiscus syrica, easily fits into even the smallest of yards. Lavender flowers bloom against dark green foliage beginning in July and won’t stop flowering until frost comes. Naturally growing as a rounded ball 3-4′ tall and wide, Pollypetite requires almost no pruning to maintain its pretty petite form.
Pollypetite Rose of Sharon can be used as a short hedge, backdrop to a smaller mixed garden, a short focal point or planted in a container for continual summer blooms with little effort.
Plant Rose of Sharon in full sun in moist well drained locations. Deer and rabbit resistant.
3 gallon pot
