Geranium – Delf Blue Meadow Cranesbill
SKU: n/a.As pretty as a Dutch garden scene, Delf Blue Meadow Cranesbill, Geranium, delights us with white flowers highlighted with sky blue speckles, streakes and splashes. No two flowers are alike! In late spring and early summer, the plant is covered with the charming flowers. Deep green, pretty lobed leaves create a soothing foliage scene. Fall foliage displays hues of ruby and russet red.
Use Delf Blue Meadow Cranesbill in your shady nooks. It prefers morning sun with a break from the hot afternoon sun. Deer and bunnies find it distasteful. It is known as Cranesbill for its pointy seed heads. Fun fact: Its fruits shatter explosively at maturity, expelling seed significant distances.
Plant in soil amended with organic matter in full shade to light shade. Protect plants from the hot afternoon sun. The plant grows best in rich soil with consistent moisture.
