Makes a fantastic weed smothering ground cover

One of our favorite Perennial Geraniums, Biokovo Karmina brings charming flowers that are held on wiry stems above its carpet of fascinating leaves. In late spring into summer plants are covered with delightful rose pink blossoms. In fall and winter its evergreen foliage displays hues of ruby and russet red.

It dense mat of leaves makes an excellent, weed smothering ground cover.  Very long lived and very easy to grow. It is not fussy about soil and is tolerant of drought once established. Deer and rabbits don’t touch it.

Plant in a shady location that gets a break from hot afternoon sun. Keep well watered until established. Although drought tolerant it benefits from good soakings during dry spells. For best blooming, keep well watered when plants and setting up blooms and blooming.
