Fluffy, pink flowers for months.
Jojo Joe Pye Weed, Eupatorium, flaunts its fluffy, rosy pink pom-pom flowers for months. A robust bloomer, the flowers keep coming, from mid-summer often to a hard frost. A unique selection of our native Eupatorium fistulosum, it is very easy to grow.
Jojo Joy Pye Weed is similar to its native cousin but with flamboyant flowers loaded with petals and a considerably longer bloom time. It can be used in perennial beds, cottage gardens, meadows, and natural settings. It makes a good choice for rain gardens. Deer resistant. It grows 3-4′ tall and wide. Also known as Eutrochium fistulosum and Hollow Joe Pye Weed.
Plant in full sun to light shade. It prefers rich, moist soil. Pinching the growing tips off in spring will give you a bushier, shorter plant, with more flowers. Keep well watered, especially when plants are setting up buds and blooming and during dry spells.
