Echinacea – Fresco Apricot Coneflower
SKU: n/a.$18.99
With multiple layers of pets and a bold, fresh color Fresco Apricot Coneflower, Echinacea, ushers a refreshing change to the garden. The large, Zinnia-like flowers bloom for months, beginning in June and persisting until frost.
Plant Coneflower, Echinacea, in full sun to part shade. Add a shovel full or two of organic matter to the soil when planting. Tolerant of drought, but for best blooming, keep well watered when plants are setting up bud and in bloom. Although they will bloom continually without deadheading, cutting back spent blooms will encourage more flowers. Coneflower seed heads are a favorite for dried flower arrangements and add considerable interest to winter landscapes. Goldfinches and other birds swarm to Coneflower seeds.
