Fothergilla gardenii – Dwarf Fothergilla
SKU: n/a.Dwarf Fothergilla, Fothergilla gardenii, offers multi-seasonal interest packed into a petite form. Spring brings bottle brush-like honey-scented white flowers. After the flowers fade, round powdered green leaves with a quilted appearance create a perfect background for summer blooming perennials. In fall, a kaleidoscope of colors adorns the leaves, creating one of the prettiest fall shows of any shrub available. Deer and rabbit resistant.
Plant Fothergilla in full sun to part shade locations in moist, well-drained soils. Performs best in morning sun and afternoon shade.
The Missouri Botanical Gardens named Dwarf Fothergilla a Plant of Merit for its exceptional ornamental value and outstanding performance in the garden.
