If you need height but are short on space, try Green Tower Boxwood. A tall column-shaped Boxwood, it can grow up to 9′ tall but only 1-2′ wide. Evergreen foliage emerges pale green before maturing to shiny deep green. Great for topiaries, containers, and formal plantings. Only reaching 1-2′ wide Green Tower excels in small spaces where height is still needed. Inconspicuous yellow flowers bloom in spring.
Boxwoods are versatile shrubs for the garden. Tolerant of a wide range of light conditions and their easy-going nature make Boxwoods ideal for many different uses. Plant Boxwoods in sun to shade. Be sure to amend the soil with compost and plant with a starter fertilizer like Bio Tone Starter Plus. Tolerant of many different soil types except consistently wet.
