Bignonia – Dressed to Thrill Cross Vine
SKU: n/a.$29.99
Dressed to Thrill Cross Vine, Bignonia capreolata, enflames the garden with red-hot flowers that attract hummingbirds and pollinators. Thousands of bright orange-red trumpets with yellow eyes cover this selection of our Missouri native vine from spring to summer. This vigorous semi-evergreen vine quickly transforms fences, walls, and trellises into a wall of flowers, climbing on structures by tendrils. It is great for areas where quick coverage is needed.
Plant Cross Vine in sun to shade. Tolerant of dark shade but needs more sun for best flower production. Cross Vine prefers moist, well-drained to average soils. Can tolerate some flooding, but not boggy soils. Plants may die back to the ground in a harsh winter. Prune after flowering is over.
