Azalea Girard’s Hot Shot
With its profusion of fire red flowers, Hot Shot Azalea is an ideal set piece in a vibrant garden. Beginning in late April the red-hot flowers of this petite shrub completely cover the evergreen leaves, creating a bright beacon in the shady garden. Drought tolerant once established, Girard Azaleas thrive around trees and neglected areas.
Disease-resistant evergreen foliage makes Azaleas great for front-of-the-yard plantings, formal gardens, or woodland settings.
Plant in shade to part shade in well-drained soils. For best blooming, keep well watered, especially when shrubs are setting up buds and blooming.
