Pictum Japanese Painted Fern, Athyrium, was awarded one of the world’s top plant awards, Perennial Plant Of The Year, for its outstanding qualities. Silver fronds with a distinct dusty purple stripe up the center create an interesting glowing effect in the garden. The lacy foliage slowly spreads via rhizomes to create a lovely dense ground cover.
Plant in soil that has been amended with organic matter in part shade or shade. Prefers a location with consistent moisture.

Nursery Pickup and Ordering
- In stock items are ready for pickup two hours after placing an order before 2 pm
- Orders for stock items placed after 2 pm are ready by 11 am the next day
- An email notification will be sent when your order is ready and you’ll have one week to pick up
- Items not picked up will be restocked and a refund will be issued to the purchaser’s credit card
