Agastache Sunrise Rose Hummingbird Mint
Hummingbirds find Sunrise Rose Hummingbird Mint irresistible.
Create a brilliant show of color with Sunrise Rose Hummingbird Mint, an extremely long blooming Agastache selection. Plump plumes of jewel-pink flowers top neat mounds of mint-scented foliage from early spring all the way to frost. A vast improvement over older varieties, it was bred for strong branching and intense color. Sunrise Rose Hummingbird Mint grows a bit smaller than others, making it a good choice for smaller spaces and containers. Grows 18-22″ tall, 14-20″ wide. One of the easiest perennials to grow.
Sunrise Rose Hummingbird Mint brings adoring butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer and rabbits don’t touch it. Treat as a short-lived perennial or annual. We use Hummingbird Mint often in mixed containers. You’ll want to place it in the middle of your pot as your “thriller” focal point.
Plant in full sun, at least 6 hours of sun a day. If you get afternoon sun, you can get away with a little less. Easy to grow. Prefers well-drained soil. Although drought tolerant, keep consistently watered for best blooming.
