Agastache – Rosie Posie Hummingbird Mint
SKU: n/a.Hummingbirds find Rosie Posie Hummingbird Mint irresistible.
Create a brilliant show of color with Rosie Posie Hummingbird Mint, an extremely long blooming two-toned Agastache selection. Plump plumes of rosy pink flowers with rich purple calyxes (outer flower section) top neat mounds of mint-scented foliage. A vast improvement over older varieties, it may be the longest-blooming Anise Hyssop ever. The calyxes are very long lasting giving the plant the look that it is blooming long after it has finished. One of the easiest perennials to grow.
It is adored by butterflies and hummingbirds, and deer and rabbits don’t touch it. Treat it as a short-lived perennial or annual. We often use it in mixed annual containers. You’ll want to place it in the middle of your pot as your “thriller” focal point.
Plant in full sun, at least 6 hours of sun a day. If you get afternoon sun, you can get away with a little less. Easy to grow. Prefers well-drained soil. Although drought tolerant, keep consistently watered for best blooming.
