Ornamental bark and showy fall foliage reveal a gorgeous and easy-care small tree on the Paperbark Maple, Acer griseum. This Award-winning tree features exfoliating bark in cinnamon and orange colors as the tree ages the bark becomes more shaggy and curly. Classic maple tree shaped leaves form into a loose pyramid shape about 20-30′ tall. As summer turns to fall green leaves take on red, orange, and purple colors.
Paperbark Maple is best used where the beautiful bark may be seen up close. Plant around a patio, walkway or along a garden path. Denoted at Missouri Botanical Gardens Plant of Merit for its 
exceptional ornamental value and ease of care.
Plant in full sun to part shade in moist, well-drained soils. Keep well watered for the first couple of years of establishment and during drought.
