Thuja – Northern Spire Arborvitae
SKU: n/a.Block unsightly views or noisy neighbors with this evergreen beauty.
Northern Spire Arborvitae, Thuja, brings rich evergreen beauty to the landscape. The leaves have a fine, soft texture with a rich, dark green color. This conifer grows slender and upright, reaching a height of 15-20′ but only a width of 5′ at its base. The fantastic habit makes it ideal for screening patios, creating narrow hedges, or evergreen backdrops to gardens. It also makes a beautiful specimen in mixed gardens and by itself. But don’t judge this delicate-looking delight by its beauty. Northern Spire Arborvitae may have refined looks, but it’s a powerful, solid, tough plant with a strong root system.
Northern Spire Arborvitae is evergreen, so you can enjoy its beautiful foliage all year round. It’s also incredibly disease-tolerant, vigorous, deer-resistant, and easy to grow.
Growing instructions: Plant Northern Spire Arborvitae in a full sun, or in shade to part shade. It is not particular about soil, thriving in most soils. A tough plant that tolerates drought once established. Keep well watered for the first couple of years and for optimum results during dry spells. For the fastest growth rate, water Northern Spire Arborvitae consistently and often.
