Syringa – Miss Kim Lilac
Heavily scented pale pink flowers bloom in spring on Miss Kim Lilac. The masses of small fragrant flowers form into a loose panicle that are excellent in bouquets. Soft green foliage turns a pretty bronze in fall. Growing about 4-5′ tall and wide, Miss Kim is prized for it’s more manageable habit and extremely fragrant flowers.
Lilacs are prized for their heavily scented blooms which are beloved by hummingbirds and butterflies. Use lilac bloom in cut arrangement to perfume the home. If planted in the correct spot, Lilacs will thrive for years on end. Plant in full sun and in soil that is moist, but well-drained.
