Salvia – Color Spires Azure Snow Sage
With its intriguing bicolor blossoms, Color Spires Azure Snow Sage, Salvia, creates a dazzling display in summer. Azure Snow Sage matures to a refined, compact clump of deep violet-blue and white bicolor flowers with thick dark green foliage. Almost as if the flowers were placed by hand, they are perfectly spaced on the stem for a full, florist look.
Salvia is a staple item for every sunny garden. It asks little more than sunshine and a good drink occasionally in return for producing a bountiful mass of colorful flower spires from late spring into early summer. It forms a dense, rounded clump of aromatic, rugose grey-green foliage that looks nice all season long. Fantastic in perennial, pollinator, cutting gardens, and containers. Deer and rabbits won’t touch it.
Plant in full sun to light shade.
